Rendering - A decorative cornice, columns, skirting boards, corbels and ceiling roses. There is a vast array of coving available from the traditional to the contemporary. Flexible coving and architectural mouldings suit any room or property style. Coving can also be used to conceal any surface cracks or settlement cracks where wall and ceiling joints meet. Cornice has the same function but is usually more decorative and detailed, and can require specialist fitting and moulding companies to carry out the work.
Bonding - This type of plastering is used for fixing corner beads etc, this type of plastering in not generally used for plastering large areas. This type of plastering will feel solid, with a subtle feel into the household.
Pebble Dashing - Also known as roughcast is a coarse plaster surface used on exterior walls of a property. This consists of lime mixed with cement, sand, gravel, pebbles and shells. These materials are mixed together and thrown at an exterior surface with a trowel/scoop. An even layer is used to maintain the look which is lump free, has no ridges and does not missing any background.
Plastering over Artex - Artex is a thin coating of tough plaster used on walls and ceilings. It's roughened surface or swirls are often found in older properties. Removing Artex is laborious work and a thin coat of new smooth plaster makes the difference. Skimmed artex with mixed plaster to a carrying board gives the surface a final smoothing.
Dot and Dab - Dot and dab plastering is a method in which you stick plasterboard to masonry walls using dabs of adhesive. The plaster you use to stick the boards to the walls is called 'bonding compound.

However, on rare occasions there may be times where a customer may not be completely satisfied.To ensure the business can put things right for you, as soon as possible after the completion of the works, please inspect the work to ensure everything has been carried out based on the contract terms and to the high standards the business aims to achieve.Please contact the business straight away with any concerns either by phone, email or write to us. If writing, get proof of posting.
BUSINESS COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
On receipt of your complaint the business aims to respond within 5 days.The business will arrange a convenient date to come and view and/or remedy the situation.In the unlikely event the business is unable to resolve your complaint having exhausted the business complaints procedure, it may be necessary to use another complaint service.
